Bio-Alcamid is the first injectable prosthesis. And it is not absorbable. That means that the effect is permanent. Especially the deep wrinkles and sunken regions can be treated with Bio-Alcamid very properly. In the face we mostly use this substance in the cheek bone area. Very good results can be achieved in the treatment of scars, when this scar shows a cavity. After the therapy the scar will be in the level of normal skin and hereby less visible. Usually one session is sufficient.
But the indication, where there is no other substance comparable to Bio-Alcamid, is to enhance special regions of the body, e.g. calves, buttocks. It is the only substance, where big amounts up to 200cc can be injected. And there is another big advantage; Bio-Alcamid is removable, even after years. Bio-Alcamid is a perfect biocompatible filler; the circumstance of removing makes it more safe.
Bioinblue is the first artificial and absorbable filler on the market. First there is the safety of absorption. On the other hand it stays longer in the tissue than most of the other absorbable fillers. And it does not matter, if you inject deeply or superficially. The durability does not depend on this fact. Bioinblue is very good for treatment of nasolabial and Marionette fold, but also for lips augmentation.
Restylane is a modern cross-linked kind of hyaluronic acid. This hyaluronic acid is decreasing in aging skin, mostly because of the decline of hormones. When we inject hyaluronic acid, we do not only remove wrinkles, but we also apply a healthy substance to our skin. As Restylane is a very natural material, we are allowed to inject very superficially. Therefore it is perfect in therapy of fine lines, e.g. on the upper lip, nasolabial, round the eyes. Even the dark shadow below the eyes can be treated properly with Restylane. In average the result of the treatment with Restylane lasts for 6-12 months.
